Three generations, one valley and a fruit almost nobody outside Japan had tasted fresh.

A fruit that won't travel
Yuzu is ugly, seedy and barely juicy. It is also the most fragrant citrus on earth, and it bruises if you look at it wrong. That is why we press it in Kōchi, two hours from the trees.
Working with the Morita family
The Moritas have grown yuzu on the same terraces since 1961. We pay them before the harvest, not after, and we buy the scarred fruit that supermarkets refuse. Scars don't change the juice.
What 28% juice means
Most 'yuzu' drinks contain under 2% juice plus flavouring. Ours is 28% cold-pressed juice, which is why the can says so on the side and why it costs what it costs.
